She has also been recognized by The School Library Journal, Apple Books Must Listen, BookRiot and Audiofile.

She has worked off-broadway at The Mint Theater Co, 59E59; Regionally with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and Virginia Shakespeare Company, and in many new works projects.

Trained at Interlochen Arts Academy (Theater) and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (BFA Acting) she brings a zealous and rigorous love of language and accents to her work.

Whether embodying hyper-realistic portrayals or guiding audiences through adventurous romps, Mia’s use of accents, clown, and Lecoq creates work focused on the awe inspired, vulnerable, and stupid.

Having called the seashore of Massachusetts, the rockies of Montana, the sand dunes of Michigan, and the friendly streets of Glasgow, Scotland all home, she now resides in NYC. She is always on the look out for a good walk, big vista, and an excellent thrift store.
